Elsa's Cyberspace Tin Cup

My series of marketing teams from Polaroid started in 1988 when Katie Carlone, a client of mine and Polaroid marketing executive, got the idea that a group portrait wd be the perfect way to cap a week of sales and team bonding for her staff. And Peter Bass, who was on the team that built the Polaroid 20x24 and who, though retired still makes emergency calls to my studio, often brought his Polaroid pals for portraits. In those days it was not unusual to find people who had worked for Polaroid for thirty years and ten years was a short tenure. It was a time in corporate America when people were proud to be a company man or woman and when affection for the company and each other was the rule. It was a naive and sweet time.
